Martellago is a tiny town in the province of Veneto, Italy. The SR245 runs through it. Veneto is also known as Venetia and is one of the 20 regions that make Italy. The capital of this region is Venice. The region is among the most industrialized and wealthy regions in Italy with a huge population of people in excess of 4.7 million. An estimated 60 million tourists visit Veneto every year. The region has a mixed climate with continental weather in the plains, and milder, more pleasant weather along the Adriatic coast, and Lake Garda and the hilly areas. The winters are particularly harsh and there is plenty of snow in the mountain regions. The region is known for its natural, historical and artistic wealth.
