The Marche is a region of central Italy, bordering Emilia-Romagna to the north, Tuscany to the north-west, Umbria to west, Abruzzo and Latium to the south and the Adriatic Sea to the east.

The Marche is divided into 5 provinces. These are Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, and Pesaro e Urbino (composed of the traditionally separate provinces of Pesaro and Urbino, that were part of ancient Umbria).
